Lauren + Jay - Festival Humanist Handfasting Wedding at Maplehurst Farm

When Lauren and Jay shared their plans to get married in a beautiful field with a relaxed humanist ceremony and the traditional practice of handfasting, I couldn't contain my excitement! There's something incredibly special about personalised ceremonies, especially when the vows are handwritten by the bride and groom. It creates such an intimate and unforgettable atmosphere. True Blue Ceremonies truly outdid themselves, ensuring everyone felt at ease and included throughout the ceremony. It was such a fun touch having beer/drinks available for the guests to enjoy during the ceremony.

Lauren and Jay's beautiful wedding took place at the stunning Maplehurst Farm in Horsham, with Fiesta Fields ensuring that every detail was impeccably arranged. As a wedding photographer and avid sun worshipper, I couldn't have asked for better weather, despite it being one of the hottest wedding days I've ever experienced. Surprisingly, the scorching heat didn't faze the couple, who radiated pure joy all day. From conquering the rodeo bull to embracing their carefree spirit on the bouncy castle.

Tentariouk set up the most epic festival style reception setting which really lent itself to the outdoor speeches. Im a sucker for outdoor speeches. It allows me to get much more creative!

And then as the sun was setting and the party was starting, we were blessed with a magic golden hour. The day was perfect.
