Steph + Mark - Fun Festival Kent Wedding

Wow, what a wedding! I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed so much at a wedding before this one! Steph and Mark are super chilled and were an absolute pleasure to photograph. They bounce off of each other, aren’t afraid to be themselves and their banter is hilarious! Ha!

They were married in St John’s Church in Meopham but I wasn’t allowed in to the church to photograph it. It’s super rare for a photographer to be denied access into a church, I’ve had this happen twice in my time shooting weddings. Unfortunate, but not the end of the world and I still managed to get a few after the actual ceremony had ended.

Then the party started!! Steph and Mark had their reception in a tipi in a field, these style wedding receptions are always so much fun! There was such a relaxed vibe to their day and then shortly after the speeches their saxophonist got everyone up dancing and it continued like that for the whole evening. One of my favourite parts of the day to photograph is the party and this one didn’t disappoint. The Kent Wedding DJ smashed it as usual and played such banging old school tunes that I stayed way later than I should have! Ha!

I especially love glitter and they had TONS of it…… on faces, in beards and in their hair!

Just before I left, Steph and Mark made their own pizza. I’ve never seen two people so excited about pizza, I think they put on every topping imaginable until the pizza guy told them it wouldn’t cook if they continued! Ha!

I’m certain I wont forgot this one in a hurry!
